| If you have found this site, you have found the last Flower Lei stand in the South Kihei. ALOHA and welcome to my Fresh Lei stand. Since 1990, I have been very fortunate to be known to many visitors, return guests and residents as their personal “lei lady”. I love that title. Being born and raised on Maui, there are many cultures and traditions to learn. As a hula dancer, I have made lei since I was 5 yrs old. The variety of lei carries different meanings. However, a lei is a symbol of “aloha”, care, love and one’s time to create this treasure. It is given from one’s heart to another’s. When my family began the Nonalani Cottages LLC in 1971, it was my foundation to hone such characteristics as housekeeping responsibilities, organizational skills and customer service to our island visitors. Although travel had taken the forefront of interest when I was younger, I always knew how special my island home was...and is today! And evidently, you have discovered this too! My family has many reasons to celebrate. Most of these weddings, reunions, BBQ’s and parties, have taken place on the grounds of the Nonalani Cottages LLC for many decades. As our children are discovering the treasures of this property, we are wishing you this same opportunity to feel at home. Ho’ike Estate offers you to join hands in your wedding ceremony, to share your laughter with your family and to smile upon the memories of those events gone by. When you call to make reservations for Fresh Leis or for the Ho’ike Estate, I welcome and honor this opportunity to serve you. Until then, take care. A Hui Hou, e Malama Pono, Elena
